TASTING NOTES
Appearance: An elegant, pale yellow colour with golden edges. Fine, uniform bubbles that are slowly released to make a fine, delicate, lasting head.
Nose: Clean, young, refreshing nose. Pink grapefruit flavour, golden delicious apples and pears, with a slight hint of green tea and fresh hay.
Mouth: Initially fresh and clean in the mouth, with a wonderful balance between acidity and maturity. Delicate, gentle bubbles that produce a very pleasant, round, sparkling sensation on the palate. A subtle aftertaste reminiscent of butter and baker’s yeast.
Serving: Serve between 5ºC and 7ºC in medium-sized glasses with a wide body, slightly narrower at the top. Pour slowly down the side of the glass to avoid breaking the bubbles. The charm of this cava will be enhanced when served with varied tapas: croquettes, sepia and onion, spicy diced potatoes, potato salad, cod fritters...
